Hello to all from the Southport Soccer Club.
We are no longer a small Club. Last year we had over 500 players and this year is expected to be similiar .
This brings with it a lot of work for the Committee and volunteers with administration, most of which goes unnoticed by the members,
We endeavour to run the club as a business, staying financial and meeting our corporate governance commitments whilst keeping the small club feel and community friendly environment.
Our aim is to provide the opportunity for players to participate in a team sport, to build a family orientated Club , and to foster a sense of pride and achievement in being part of a team.
We plan on catering to all standards, and to improve skill level in all players through dedicated coaches.
The future of our Club is the juniors, so we need to develop them into being the senior players of tomorrow.
We as the Board welcome all members, we encourage feedback and communication, and we look forward to another great year.
